What is your cancellation policy?

To receive a full refund, your cancellation must be requested at least seven days before your scheduled booking.  To reschedule your booking, your request must be made at least 3 days before your scheduled booking. To receive a 50% refund, your cancellation must be requested at least 24 hours before the start time of your scheduled booking. Cancelations made within 24 hours of the start time of the scheduled booking are not eligible for a refund. There is no refund for no-shows and will be charged 100%.

Weather Cancellations

Your captain determines cancellations due to severe weather on the day of your booking. If your captain cancels your booking due to severe weather, you will have the opportunity to reschedule for a later date. If you are unable to reschedule, we will issue a full refund. We do not cancel due to weather forecasts. Our recommendation is, to come down to the dock and hope for the best… some incredible boat parties have been had in the rain!

Why can’t I be the captain?

Operating the boat for your lake day is a big responsibility and we want to make sure that your day on the lake is as safe as possible, as easy as possible, and as fun as possible. The best way we can ensure all of that happens is to use one of our Austin Boat Co. captains. If you really want to be a captain, we are always looking for new Austin Boat Co. captains.

Are glass bottles allowed?

Glass bottles are not allowed, but cans are! Per Texas Parks and Wildlife, glass bottles are not allowed on public lakes.
